Today, The Democrat Party KLB Was Held In North Sumatra
JAKARTA - The Democrat Party Extraordinary Congress (KLB) is reportedly taking place today, Friday, March 5.
Former Chairman of Supervisory Commission the Democratic Party (PD) HM Darmizal MS stated that most of the DPD (Regional Representative Council) Chairmen and the DPC (Branch Management Board) Chairmen of Democratic Party had conveyed their willingness to attend the KLB in North Sumatra.
"The founders of the Party, the Chairmen of the DPD and DPC, the Leaders of Wing Organizations such as AMD, KMD, BMD, and GMD along with administrators throughout the country, have confirmed their visits (to KLB)", Darmizal said in a statement to reporters, Friday morning, March 5.
According to one of the founders of the Democratic Party, KLB participants have the same enthusiasm and hopes. Namely, returning the Democratic Party as a national, religious, and humanist party as well as open and modern.
"PD must be led by a competent, open, egalitarian, and not arbitrary general chairman", said Darmizal.
Darmizal assessed that AHY was not able to conduct self-introspection of his policies which harmed many cadres in the regions. One of them is the matter of mandatory dues that choke the lower cadres.
"The monthly mandatory contribution to the DPP (Tax base) and the deposit of dowry for the regional elections without feedback to the regions is something despotic", he said.
For this reason, Darmizal believes that KLB is the best way for all Democratic cadres to save and grow the party.
He also mentioned the steps taken by the DPP Democrats led by AHY, which were late in approaching the DPD and DPC of the Democratic Party.
“KLB is at the door. The rice has become porridge. They don't need to regret it", said Darmizal.
