Thousands Of Vehicles Leading To Jakarta, Police Implement One Way On Kalikangkung-Cipali Toll Road

JAKARTA - The Head of the Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police, Inspector General Pol Aan Suhanan, said that his party implemented a one-way system at KM 414 Kalikangkung - KM 72 Cipali Toll Road, Saturday, April 13, at 15.00 WIB.

The one-way implementation is carried out to reduce the density of vehicles on toll roads during the Eid backflow period.

According to information conveyed by Aan, before implementing a one-way system, his party will clean the lanes of the vehicle.

The cleaning of the vehicle will last for two hours, from 13.00 WIB to 15.00 WIB.

Previously, Korlantas Polri planned to implement a one-way system on the route on Friday.

However, the implementation of a route has been postponed because it is considered to have no urgency and is still under the implementation of police traffic engineering.

Not only on the Kalikangkung - Cipali Toll Road, Korlantas per day has also started implementing a one-way system on the Cibitung - Cimanggis Toll Road.

Based on the official pieces of Korlantas Polri received by ANTARA, the one-way system to Jakarta and Bogor was implemented from 06.00 WIB to 17.00 WIB.

With this effort, Aan hopes that the accumulation of vehicles on the toll road when the homecoming flow can be reduced so that travelers can return to their homes safely and comfortably.

Around 12,000 vehicles queued to enter the Kalikangkung Toll Gate, Semarang, Central Java to Jakarta on Saturday afternoon.
