Lamborghini Huracmen STJ: Sweet Farewell To Legendary V10 Machine
JAKARTA - Automobile Lamborghini celebrate their iconic V10 sports car with a limited edition of 10 units equipped with an exclusive performance improvement package.
Lamborghini Huracsama STJ, that's the name of this special edition, but its edition is also the engine cover of a phenomenal V10 naturally aspirationed machine. This machine has become a symbol of Lamborghini's Automobile history and has contributed greatly to the success of the Hurac total family since it was first launched in 2014. Towards the end of this year, the Hurac family will be replaced by the latest sports car using a hybrid engine.
According to the company's release, quoted April 15, this special car took the design base from Hurac totaling STO, STJ was the highest performance peak ever achieved by the Hurac totaling family. This is thanks to the use of a special package designed to further improve the racing spirit of Hurac total autonomy.
STJ itself stands for Super Trofeo Jota. Super Trofeo is a reference for Lamborghini's one-make championship which was founded in 2009. Meanwhile, Jota refers to the Appendix J of the FIA regulation that regulates racing car specifications, as well as Lamborghini's long tradition of developing cars for racing tracks, starting from Miura SVJ to Aventador SVJ.
Hurac total STJ stand out thanks to a special aerodynamic package developed by Lamborghini technician Squadra Corse. They took advantage of the knowledge gained during the ten years of competing in the top Gran Turismo competition. The advanced aerodynamics on STO is further refined by the addition of an iconic "cofango". These are two additional aerodynamic wings (flicks) made of carbon fibers, while the rear wing angle is up 3 degrees higher than the production model to ensure a 10% downforce increase without reducing the car balance.
Like STO, Hurac Total STJ produces a maximum power of 640 CV at 8,000 rpm and a torque of 565 Nm (at 8,000 rpm) which is regulated by the gearbox dual-clutch 7 acceleration (LDF - Lamborghini Doppia Frizione). This force is channeled to the rear wheels only.
Mechanical viscosity is significantly enhanced by the use of four shock absorbers that can be tuned and originated from the world of racing. This shock damping replaces the standard active component. The four-way tuning capability allows optimization of rebounds and compressions at high and low frequencies, thus providing complete freedom in the trajectory-dependent setting. This particular characteristics of shock damping enables the use of softer springs while maintaining optimal dynamic control of the car and improving steering precision.
To maximize driving performance, Lamborghini pinned a special Bridgestone Potenza Race tire made with a high grip competition at a 20-inch single-nut velg.
With these various technical improvements, Hurac Total STJ was able to record lap times at the Nardkah Technical Center Handling Track which was one second faster than Hurac total STO.
This sporty character and car exclusivity are also reflected in the aesthetic side. There are two choices of configurations and livery that are designed definitively by Lamborghini Centro giju. The first combination uses Grigio Telesto (grey) body color with Noctis Cylinder roof (black) as well as details of Rosso Mars (red) and Bianco Isi (white). The interior is wrapped in the Alcantara Okron Cosmos (black) seat with skin details and sheets contrasting Rosso Alala (red).
The second configuration uses a Blu Eliadi (blue) body color with a Noctis Nozzle (black) roof and details of Mars (red) Rosso and Bianco Isi (white). Both versions also feature carbon fiber plates with special numbers with the words "1 of 10". Consumers are also given the option to add custom plates on the passenger side as desired.
Hurac Total STJ became a sweet farewell to the legendary V10 engine era Lamborghini. This car not only offers wild performance, but also the scarcity and privileges coveted by collectors.
