Maruarar Sirait Takes Care Of Member's Card To Join Gerindra
JAKARTA - Former PDIP politician Maruarar Sirait is currently processing a membership card (KTA) to join the Gerindra Party led by Prabowo Subianto.
"The KTA is not yet, of course it is in the process. Of course there are conditions, what, we have to fulfill it," said Maruarar, a journalist as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 10.
Maruarar said he would follow all the requirements or processes to have membership in the party.
"Yes, I will follow the existing rules of the game as a new member, of course I have to be patient, it's a process," he said.
He said that for positions in the party, of course, the initial position was processed as a regular member. He will follow Prabowo's direction for the assignment of activities related to the party.
"It has been explained that I am Pak Prabowo's subordinate," he said.
Previously, former PDI-P politician Maruarar Sirait suggested that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) be a special advisor to the Candidate Pair for President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
The reason for the proposal was stated because Jokowi had a myriad of experiences, starting from being the Mayor of Surakarta, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, to the President.

"Pak Jokowi will certainly provide input and become an advisor as an experienced person," said Maruarar when giving a speech at the National Activist and Friends of Bang Ara (Maruarar Sirait) for breaking the fast together (bukber) and compensation to 100 orphans in Central Jakarta, Sunday (7/4).
Prabowo-Gibran, he said, is also believed to be continuing good programs from President Jokowi. For this reason, Ara, as he is familiarly called, emphasized that all activists can unite to support the Prabowo government when serving as President of the Republic of Indonesia.
