The Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto in the past week seemed to be a controversial figure in the world of politics.

Especially after throwing two hot balls by mentioning the existence of a former powerful minister who Jokowi sent to meet and persuade Megawati to occupy the seat of the PDIP General Chair and mention Jokowi's eldest son like a truck driver who crashed into Halim's toll gate.

Hasto's statement, which seemed to be fishing in the cloudy water, surprised the daily chairman of the Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad. The deputy chairman of the DPR was surprised by the attitude of PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto who exposed PDIP's internal problems to the public regarding the issue that President Joko Widodo wanted to take over the chair of the general chairman.

Dasco added, although the issue is true, it should not be announced to the public.

"I am also surprised by such issues, because actually it is an internal problem for political parties that should be discussed internally, and then it is not exposed to the public," said Dasco at the DPR, Jakarta, Thursday, April 4.

However, Dasco did not want to interfere with the problems in PDIP. He only hopes that every political party in Indonesia can make a leadership transition according to the mechanism regulated in the articles of association and household budget (AD/ART) of their respective political parties.

"But whatever it is, we hope that all political parties in Indonesia are fine in carrying out leadership transitions with the mechanisms that have been regulated in the AD/ART of each political party," said Daso.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, when met, was reluctant to comment on the PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto's statement which stated that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had made an effort to take over the position of chairman of the PDIP. Airlangga invited reporters to ask the person concerned.

"Ask those who give statements," said Airlangga at the Golkar Party DPP office, Wednesday, April 3.

Hasto's statement that seemed to be issuing an 'ammunition' to Jokowi was forwarded to his eldest son. Hasto said Gibran Rakabuming Raka was like a truck driver who hit the Halim toll gate. Hasto assessed that Gibran's age was not sufficient to solve the complex problem. According to him, something that is not ideal will only create damage.

"Then in the middle of it, a look shows how a president's son whose age limit is not sufficient, the mayor is also only two years old, then gets a preference," said Hasto.

Kontan pernyataan tersebut langsung mendapatkan reaksi keras dari berbagai pihak. Wakil Ketua Umum Gerindra, Habiburokhman mengecam pernyataan Hasto. Wakil Ketua Komisi III DPR RI ini menegaskan pernyataan dari Hasto dibanyak dengan kebendaan dan kebanggaan. Tak relu, Habiburokhman memberikan nilai katur kesegarawan dari Sekjen PDIP nomor 11 dari 100.

"We strongly condemn Hasto's statement. It seems that he is very arrogant and full of hatred just because the candidates he supports lose," Habiburokhman told VOI.

According to Habiburokhman, equalizing Gibran to the truck driver, it is tantamount to insulting the intelligence of supporters of candidate pair number 2, Prabowo-Gibran. He warned that Hasto could be made a common enemy by Prabowo-Gibran supporters.

"Facing Mas Gibran with a teenage driver who crashed at Halim is tantamount to insulting the intelligence of the people, Prabowo-Gibran voters, which number is close to 100 million people. Do not let tens of millions of Prabowo-Gibran voters make Hasto a common enemy," he said.

Secretary General of the Gibran Center, Roy Marjuk also spoke up about Hasto Kristiyanto's controversial statement. Roy insinuated Hasto is like an airplane passenger in the VIP cabin. Usually, said Roy, it is more fussy than passengers in business or economic cabins.

"But when the plane has succeeded in reaching its destination, VIP passengers are the most happy," he said.

As a fellow passenger, Roy also suggested that Hasto be able to enjoy more flights with the pilot captain President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who will soon be replaced by Prabowo with a young Co-pilot, Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
