At Tanjung Pendam Beach, No Hilal Is Seen, Determination Of 1 Syawal 1445 Hijri Waits For A Central Decree
Tanjung Pandan- The rukyatul hilal team from the Belitung Ministry of Religion Office was unable to observe the hilal or children of the month to determine the beginning of 1 Syawal 1445 Hijri because the conditions were blocked by cloudy clouds in the Tanjung Pendam Beach tourist area. This was revealed by the Head of the Belitung Ministry of Religion, Masdar Nawawi, on Tuesday, April 9.
"The results of the monitoring of the 1 Syawal 1445 Hijri hilal on Tanjung Pendam Beach are not visible because it is blocked by cloudy clouds," said Masdar Nawawi.
He explained that the weather had been cloudy since morning, preventing the team from observing the hilal clearly. The rukyatul hilal team and judges from the Belitung Religious Court plan to report the results of this observation to the Office of the Ministry of Religion Region of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province to be forwarded to the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia.
Masdar Nawawi added that Tanjung Pendam Beach is one of two national hilal monitoring points in Bangka Belitung Islands Province, which also includes Penagan Beach in Central Bangka.

He appealed to the public to wait for the central government's decision regarding the syawal 1 determination of 1445 Hijiri. "However, based on observations, the hilal is already above five degrees if it refers to the MABIMS agreement, Eid al-Fitr 1445 will fall on Wednesday, April 10 tomorrow, but for more perfect, we are waiting together for the official announcement of the central government," he said.
