Only Until March 31st! Garuda Indonesia Free Of Charge For Domestic Route Antigen Rapid Test

JAKARTA - The national airline PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk. decided to provide free rapid antigen test facilities for all passengers on domestic routes.

President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfaniaputra, said that the service is the company's commitment to providing added value to aviation services for people who will carry out flights, especially during a pandemic.

"Of course, we hope that the facilities provided can further increase public interest in flying again through the ease of fulfilling travel document requirements in the form of a COVID-19 free certificate," he said in a written statement, Thursday, March 4.

Irfan added, the free rapid antigen service offered by Garuda Indonesia can be integrated directly with the E-Hac application, so that passengers can enjoy connected services starting from the antigen test to the check-in process at the airport.

"This initiative also aims to provide a safe and comfortable flight experience through various ease of accessibility of flight services in the new era of normality in line with efforts to implement health protocols that are consistently implemented in all touch points of our flight services," he said.

This facility itself can be obtained by prospective passengers who make ticket purchase transactions through the official Garuda Indonesia ticket sales channel in the period March 2 - March 31, 2021 with travel time of March 2021.

Meanwhile, service users can get a free rapid antigen test service after completing the ticket transaction process through the company's website, mobile app, contact center, as well as the company's official offline and online travel agents.

Later, prospective passengers will get an email notification containing the claim link for the free rapid test antigen voucher according to the email data registered in the booking code. Then, Garuda Indonesia collaborated with 66 clinics providing antigen rapid test services spread across 33 major cities in Indonesia.
