Maruarar Sirait Proposes Jokowi To Be A Special Advisor To Prabowo-Gibran

JAKARTA - Former PDI-P politician Maruarar Sirait proposed that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) be Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka's special adviser.

Maruarar stated that the reason for the proposal was because Jokowi had a myriad of experiences, starting from being the Mayor of Surakarta, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, to the President.

"Pak Jokowi will certainly provide input and become an advisor as an experienced person," said Maruarar as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 8.

Prabowo-Gibran, he said, is also believed to be continuing good programs from President Jokowi. Therefore, Ara, as he is familiarly called, emphasized that all activists can unite to support the Prabowo government when serving as President.

"We are the first activists to support Prabowo to be united and solid in the future," he said.

Ara also appealed to activists not to divide the good relations that have been established between Jokowi and Prabowo.

"So, don't let them become a part that separates them. The position of activists must be pumping Prabowo and Jokowi," he said.

Ara also likens the relationship between Jokowi and Prabowo to being built on a sturdy rock when exposed to water, wind, and rain.

According to him, trust, match, and convenience between the two figures have gone through a very high and unique process of dynamics.

"How do they respect each other, respect each other, it is done. Pak Jokowi, I understand the character very well. He is a very good person, committed, and very respectful of Pak Prabowo, and Pak Prabowo really respects Pak Jokowi," he said.

He hopes that politicians in Indonesia will imitate the harmony of Prabowo and Jokowi who have been shown by concrete actions.
