The Bogor Peak Route Is Predicted To Be Crowded With More Than 100 Thousand Vehicles During The Eid Holiday
BOGOR - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno stated that Puncak Bogor tourism is ready to accept visitors to the Eid holiday.
"We state at this point that Puncak Bogor tourism is ready to accept a surge in visitors to Lebaran, but we must handle it together so that there is no accumulation of garbage or we guard the destination so that it still refers to natural conservation," Sandiaga said in Cisarua, Bogor Regency, West Java. reported by ANTARA, Monday, April 8.
He said the first thing that needed to be prepared was the traffic arrangement.
"So first we prepare the traffic to Bogor Regency, especially the Puncak area and earlier we saw the readiness," he said.
Indeed, in terms of capacity, the Bogor Peak Line is designed for 36 thousand vehicles. However, vehicles that are predicted to cross this route reach 160 thousand vehicles or four times the capacity.
Of course, this requires the support of all parties regarding the diversion and arrangement in terms of hours, and it takes patience.
"We certainly prepare selected destinations for tourists not to accumulate in one destination," said Sandiaga.
Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno visited the Puncak Bogor Area on Monday (8/4/2024). Sandiaga's visit began with visiting the Bogor Police TMC and personnel at the security, health and safety posts at Simpang Gadog, followed by a visit to Taman MiniMania Puncak, HeHa Waterfall, and Bobocabin Gunung Mas Puncak.
Sandiaga invites travelers and visitors to Lebaran to travel safely, comfortably and comfortably in Bogor Regency.
"Please travel safely, comfortably, and comfortably in Bogor Regency, but please check the density of visitors and also check the latest traffic conditions, and adjust them to the mitigation of the threat of extreme weather changes," he said.

The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy also appealed to tourists not to force themselves if weather conditions were not possible.
"So the appeal is a classic expression, namely to prepare an umbrella before it rains, to provide vehicle readiness to deal with changing weather as well as our plan to be flexible so that we don't have to force it if the weather doesn't allow it, then we can rest in selected destinations that I have described. Make sure your tourism activities are safe, comfortable and fun," Sandiaga said.
Meanwhile, Acting (Pj) Bogor Regent Asmawa Tosepu said that Bogor Regency is ready to accept tourists both from within the country and internationally during the Eid holiday.
"Thank you for visiting the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy who ensured to all of us that Bogor Regency is ready to accept tourists both domestically and internationally in the context of the Eid holiday," said Asmawa Tosepu.
