8 Hours Queue, Homecomers At Merak Port Protest Cars Do Not Enter The Ship

CILEGON - A number of four-wheeled vehicle travelers at Merak Port, Banten, protested to officers because the car had been queuing for a long time but had not yet entered the ship.

A travelers from Jakarta Anton (45), hopes that services can be provided fairly to all prospective passengers.

Anton admitted that he had been patiently waiting in line since 02.00 WIB at Merak Executive Port, and had even been stuck in traffic for 8 hours on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road while heading to the Port.

"We have been patiently waiting since last night here, but have not yet boarded the ship," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 8.

Anton hopes that the officers will act fairly and prioritize the travelers who have queued first.

"The penen is orderly from the right side first, even those who have just arrived, even though we have been waiting in line here," he said.

Anton along with other travelers admitted that they would continue to protest if it was not enforced fairly.

"If we don't clean up, we will continue to protest," he explained.

Yohan, another travelers, also admitted that they were annoyed because the officers who were doing the service did not act fairly because they did not prioritize vehicles that had been queuing for a long time.

"I've been waiting here for a while. There's a little gas left, we've been waiting a long time, even the others have been waiting before, it's like that, then we can also pay for it all," he explained.

Based on observations at the location, a number of travelers held demonstrations in front of the exclusive pier. The protest was shown to the officer who was carrying out the service.
