The Peak Of Homecoming Flows At Tirtonadi Jeteng Terminal Is Predicted Tomorrow Monday
SOLO - The peak of the homecoming flow through Tirtonadi Terminal Solo, Central Java is predicted Monday, April 8 or D-2 Lebaran 2024.
"Our estimate is for the peak of the homecoming flow on April 8. Our prediction is that there were approximately 29,000 passengers that day," said the Coordinator of the Type A Terminal Service Unit (Korsatpel) Tirtonadi Bandiyono, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, April 7.
He said the figure increased by about 10 percent compared to the peak period last year, which was in the range of 27,000 passengers.
"The number of buses is in the range of 4,000 during the peak moment," he said.
Meanwhile, he said, until now there has been an increase in the arrival of travelers from various regions to the city of Solo.
"There has been a 1 percent jump in the number of buses from last year and 9 percent of the number of passengers. Yesterday's number of buses was 2,112 buses with 23,558 passengers," he said.
In addition to regularity, he said, on Saturday (7/4) the Tirtonadi Terminal has also received 65 free homecoming buses.
"There are 2,800 people coming to Tirtonadi Terminal via the free homecoming," he said.
These travelers came from three points, namely at Pondok Cabe Terminal, South Tangerang, Jatijajar Terminal, Depok, and Pulo Gebang Terminal, Jakarta.
Related to this, he has appealed to passengers to continue their journey the next day for safety and comfort.

"We have prepared travelers to be safe and comfortable, we suggest that they continue their journey in the morning. We have prepared a rest area at two points, namely to the south and our health room," he said.
He said several facilities in the rest area could be used by travelers.
