JAKARTA - Manchester United (MU) is back in danger because they will meet leaders of the Liverpool standings in the Premier League or Premier League, at Old Trafford Stadium, Sunday 7 April starting 21.30 WIB.

MU suffered a very painful defeat mid-week ago. They gave up 3-4 against Chelsea. Whereas before they had taken the lead.

Chelsea took the lead 2-0 thanks to Conor Gallagher's goal in the fourth minute and Cole Palmer's penalty in the 19th minute.

However, they returned from Stamford Bridge Stadium empty-handed after Chelsea scored two goals in one minute. Cole Palmer scored these two goals from the penalty spot in injury time to be exact in the 90+10 minute and in the 90+11 minute.

Three days after that pain, MU will have to face another tough match again for hosting Liverpool. The Red Devils, nicknamed MU, will indeed host Old Trafford. However, what they face is the leader of the Liverpool standings.

Jurgen Klopp's side are back in charge of the Premier League standings after beating Sheffield United, 3-1, mid-week. They won this game thanks to goals scored by Darwin Nunez, Alexis Mac Allister, and Cody Gakpo. Sheffield United's reply was due to the suicide of Liverpool defender Conor Bradley.

MU's condition was exacerbated by an injury crisis that increased at centre-back after Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans suffered injuries in the match against Chelsea on Thursday night.

With the absence of Victor Lindelof and Leandro Martinez, Willy Kambwala is likely to partner Harry Maguire in the heart of defense. Scott McTominay will also start replacing Casemiro, who came out of injury in the middle of the week. Luke Shaw, men Malacia, and Anthony Martial were also absent.

In the Liverpool camp, Jurgen Klopp hopes Wataru Endo can be played again because the Japanese international is missing a 3-1 win over Sheffield United. Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota are still two weeks away from returning to action.

The 3-4 defeat at Chelsea's home was clearly not a good provision ahead of the match against this arch-foe.

United have now won only one of their last five league games. Liverpool extended their unbeaten record to seven league games with a 3-1 win over the relegation-threatened team Sheffield United on Thursday night.

The Reds did lose their last away game, which was a 4-3 defeat in the FA Cup semifinals at United. Liverpool may also fail to beat the Red Devils in their previous two meetings this season. However, they likely won't slip for the third time and won this time.
