"In addition, we also provide processing tools or fish storage for fishermen's wives," he said.
For the aid funds, said Emir, some were sourced from funds for tobacco excise (DBHCT) and funds from the main ideas (Pokir) of members of the Mataram City DPRD.

According to him, the assistance of nets, pasty machines, and garbage to fishermen is intended to support the increase in the production of Mataram fishermen's catch, which on average types of production are tuna.
Meanwhile, the fish processing equipment for fishermen's wives aims to maintain the selling value of fish when production is abundant.
"The abundant catch of fishermen can be cut off so that it can be stored without reducing the quality and price," he said.
In addition, he added, this year the type of fisherman assistance will be added in the form of 50 cooling machines that can be used to store fish with a capacity of 200 liters.
The assistance will be given to 200 fishermen's wives who have formed groups of 5-20 people per group.
This assistance is also an effort to control inflation, because tuna fish are often a contributor to inflation, especially during extreme weather.
"We hope that through this assistance, we will be able to boost fishermen's production and improve their welfare," he said.
