Lebaran Homecoming, These Are Various Facilities Provided By KCIC On Fast Trains

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) provides various facilities to make it easier for train users during the Eid al-Fitr 2024 homecoming period. One of them is providing online services for reservation and rescheduling the departure of prospective train passengers on the media application and the official KCIC website.

This prevents prospective passengers from having to come to the station for that purpose.

"Reservations and reschedules online through theASH application and websites can be done for those who buy tickets online. So, passengers don't need to go to the station," said KCIC Company Communication Manager Emir Monti quoting Antara.

KCIC also alerted officers to assist passengers at crucial points such as station entrances or platform areas.

In addition, the company provides free takjil for train passengers during breaking the fast, especially for passengers departing from Halim and Tegal Luar Stations at 18.00 WIB departure time.

Train restoration services also provide a wide selection of food and drinks for train passengers.

"Since yesterday, the food train service can be enjoyed by passengers located on train five. So, passengers don't have to bother bringing their own food in a hurry and don't have time to buy it at the station, so they can buy it on the train," said Emir.

KCIC in collaboration with the TNI and Polri in maintaining the safety of train passengers. Security posts have been prepared on all KCIC train travel routes.
