Russian Attack In Kharkiv Ukraine Kills 2 People, 7 Others Injured

JAKARTA - Russia's attack on Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, reportedly killed 2 civilians and injured seven others.

Governor Kharkiv, Oleh Synehubov, via Telegram said the attack took place on Saturday, April 6. Television Suspilne said the multi-story apartment building in the Shevchenkivskyi district was damaged and the shop caught fire.

As reported by Reuters, Synehubov previously reported an attack on Kharkiv on residential buildings and missile strikes in villages north of the city. No casualties were reported in either incident.

Kharkiv, in northeastern Ukraine, has often been the target of Russian attacks, with increased attacks in recent weeks. On Wednesday, April 3, a drone strike in the city killed four people and caused severe damage to apartments.
