Anticipate Waste, Depok City DLHK Deploys Personnel Ahead Of Eid
JAKARTA - A number of personnel and fleets of garbage carriers were deployed to anticipate the accumulation of waste ahead of Eid.
The personnel are from the Environment and Hygiene Service (DLHK) of Depok City, West Java.
"Before the evening, we anticipate that the garbage coming from the market will be shocked to pile up," said Head of the Depok City DLHK Cleanliness and Partnership Division, Ardan Kurniawan, quoting Antara.
Every year before the night of takbiran, the Depok City DLHK is always anticipated by lowering cleaning staff and garbage transport trucks.
Because the volume of waste on the night of takbiran is estimated to rise from a normal day.

Ardan Kurniawan said the volume of normal waste that entered the final disposal site or Cipayung TPA was 950 to 1,000 tons per day.
"During Ramadan, it seems as if it is still normal. The volume of waste is still at 950 to 1,000 tons per day," he said.
