Sainz Curhat Wants To Get A New Team For Formula 1 2025
JAKARTA - Formula 1 racer Carlos Sainz admits that he wants to have a new team soon to be able to continue his professional career in Formula 1 in 2025.
Sainz, who will leave Ferrari next year as his position is replaced by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), still has not received confirmation regarding his future in the premier car racing class. He admitted that he is currently accelerating his negotiations with a number of teams, and is considering his choice for 2025.
"Of course I'm talking to some (team), because that's what my management team and I have to do when I don't have a job for next year. We're talking to all of them," Sainz quoted Antara as saying.
"It's just a matter of looking at more details and looking at more realistic options, as well as what options are best for me and my future. The only thing I want to say is now is the time to speed things up and hopefully we can finish it faster," added the 29-year-old racer.
Furthermore, the Spaniard also provided the latest information about his physical condition after bowel surgery, some time ago. Sainz admitted that his fitness was close to 100 percent, and was ready to compete in the Japanese Grand Prix series at the suzuka Circuit, this weekend.
"I still haven't been able to lift the heavy load like I used to do in the past, but at least I was able to finish my training and (I) felt back to 100 percent," said Sainz.

Regarding whether he can maintain his performance from Australia over the coming weekend in Japan, Sainz argues that the event has the potential to be a more challenging race for Ferrari.
"I think last year was one of the most challenging years for us compared to Red Bull," Sainz said.
"So it's time to see where we are this year and see if we can at least get closer and enjoy this amazing track more than what we enjoyed last year," he added.
Meanwhile, today, the third free training session of the Japanese GP will be held at 09.30 WIB, followed by a qualifying session at 13.00 WIB.
