Passenger Movement At Soetta Airport Predicted 188,795 People Today
PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) predicts that on Saturday, April 6, the movement of homecoming flows using air transportation services through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta), Tangerang, Banten, will reach 188,795 passengers.
"Meanwhile, at the peak of the homecoming flow, it is estimated that April 6 or D-4, with the number of passengers at 20 airports estimated at 317,835 passengers," said President Director of Angkasa Pura II (Persero), Agus Wialdi quoting Antara.
According to him, AP II has prepared an operation plan to ensure smooth airport services and operations amid high flight traffic, including at the peak of this homecoming flow.
The important points that are the focus are in the midst of high flight traffic including the peak of homecoming flow, including check-in counter areas, boarding lounges, to flight passenger flow arrangements and irregular time slot settings during peak time.
"Peraturan penggunaan check in counter dan pengaturan boarding lounge akan direncanakan dengan baik, termasuk menyediakan holding bay bagi penumpang pesawat jika diperlukan," katanya.
Furthermore, he said, another important point when passenger arrivals included baggage services in the baggage claim area and the availability of land transportation modes.

"We continue to coordinate with ground handling regarding the handling of aircraft passenger baggage. We hope that with close collaboration among all stakeholders, the handling of baggage by ground handling can meet standards, starting from the baggage being lowered from the plane to entering the conveyor belt and then taking passengers," he said.
