20 Percent Jakarta-Semarang Toll Rates Cut Still Valid Until Tomorrow
Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana reminded that a tariff cut of 20 percent for the Trans Java Toll Road from Jakarta to Semarang during the period of homecoming flow is still valid until tomorrow.
For your information, the toll discount has been in effect since Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 05.00 WIB until tomorrow Friday, April 5, 2024 at 05.00 WIB.
Lisye said the purpose of implementing this toll tariff cut is to distribute traffic which is predicted to start increasing on Friday, April 5, 2024 and avoid being concentrated at one time at the peak of the homecoming flow which is predicted to fall on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
"So we again urge the public to travel home early to maximize tariff cuts by 20 percent," said Lisye in an official statement, Thursday, April 4.
Lisye explained, the 20 percent toll rate cut for the continuous travel rate for homecoming from Jakarta to Semarang, only applies on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 05.00 WIB until Friday, April 5, 2024 at 05.00 WIB for the origin of GT Cikampek Utama to GT Kalikangkung.
The following is the amount of tariff discount:
Group IKendaraan: Initially IDR 400,000 to IDR 320,000, tariff discount of IDR 80,000
Group II And IIIKendaraan: Initially IDR 617,500 to IDR 494,000, tariff discount of IDR 123,500
Group IV And VKendaraan: Initially IDR 813,500 to IDR 650,800, tariff discount of IDR 162,700
Applicable When Backflow
Lisye said the 20 percent toll rate cut will later take effect in the return flow period for Eid al-Fitr 1445, starting from Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 05.00 WIB, until Friday, April 19, 2024 at 05.00 WIB for the Trans Java Toll Road from Semarang to Jakarta, only for the origin of GT Kalikangkung to GT Cikampek Utama.
The following is the amount of the tariff cut:
Group IKendaraan: Initially IDR 421,500 to IDR 337,200, tariff discount of IDR 84,300
Photo II And IIIKendaraan: Initially IDR 649,500 to IDR 519,600, tariff discount of IDR 129,900
Group IV And VKendaraan: Initially IDR 856,500 to IDR 685,200, tariff discount of IDR 171,300

Jasa Marga again urges road users to ensure the adequacy of e-toll balances, especially for continuous travel and to rearrange travel times by avoiding travel at times that are predicted to be the peak of homecoming and backflow.
"Avoid traveling at your favorite time, such as after dawn or breaking the fast," he said.
Lisye also reminded travelers to obey signs and directions from officers in the field and to always be disciplined in terms of driving on toll roads. Use time wisely by not taking long in the rest area.
"Jasa Marga also urges road users to check the time and route for implementing dynamic traffic engineering from the police," he explained.
