Earthquake Tuban M 5.6, Vibration Reported Feels Strong

JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 occurred in Tuban, East Java. Vibrations reportedly felt strong in the surrounding area.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that the Tuban earthquake occurred in the sea, 134 km northeast of Tuban at 16.02 WIB, Wednesday, April 3.

The 10-kilometer Tuban earthquake was felt at the MMI II-III level in Surabaya, II-III Tuban to Bojonegoro.
