F1 Edition Sport Mercedes Car Arrives In Malaysia, Price Reaches IDR 7 Billion

JAKARTA - The high-performance luxury car Mercedes-AMG GT63S E Performance F1 Edition has arrived at the Malaysian market.

The presence of this model is in celebration of AMG's close relationship with the German manufacturer's Formula 1 team.

Based on the regular version of GT63S Performance, this car comes with a number of exterior changes and offers a luxurious exclusive feature.

Reporting from Paultan, Wednesday, March 3, this sedan is covered with Alpine Gray's non-metallic paint coating, and added with a foil containing the AMG logo, as well as color gradation from gray to black, resembling Mercedes' F1 racing car.

Not only that, this car also features red accents that give an aggressive impression on several parts of the vehicle body, including 21-inch AMG FORged rims with five twin bars, sideskirts, and front and rear aprons.

In the cabin, this special edition of GT63S E Performance is equipped with a black AMG Performance seat, which is decorated with striking red stitches. In addition, items developed by the high performance division are also present, such as a steering wheel wrapped in Nappa skin and Microcut micro fiber, as well as a burning door plate. Because it is a special edition, this car features a special F1 E Performance' logo on the dashboard and an exclusive floor carpet.

In terms of performance, the F1 Edition version of the GT63 S E Performance has the same engine and power as the regular version, namely the M177 4.0 twin-turbo V8 liter, which produces 630 dk of power and a peak torque of 900 Nm. The V8 machine is paired with automatic transmission of AMG Speedshift MCT 9G nine accelerations, with a 4 Matic+-wheeled driven system developed by AMG.

In addition to gasoline engines, this car is equipped with an electric motor that has 201 dk of power and a torque of 320 Nm, embedded in the back, complete with an advanced electronic differential-slip system. Thus, this sedan has a total power of up to 831 dk and a torque of 1,470 Nm, supporting this sports car capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour in 2.9 seconds, and reaching a maximum speed of 316 km/hour.

With a combination of special offers and fierce performance, the Mercedes-AMG GT63S E Performance F1 Edition is sold for 2.118 million ringgit in neighboring countries, equivalent to IDR 7 billion.
