KPU Expert: Noise Discussing Sirekap, It's An Empty Message! It's Useless
JAKARTA - The expert proposed by the General Elections Commission (KPU) at the Constitutional Court (MK) trial, Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo confirmed that the Recapitulation Information System (Sirekap) was not used in the official vote recapitulation.
In the process of calculating the votes of the presidential and legislative elections, the KPU recapitulates the tiered votes manually.
So, according to Marsudi, there is actually no point in fussing over allegations of fraud or manipulation of votes in Sirekap.
"This framework is not used for decisions. So we are fussy, tired here, talk about Sirekap, that's just an empty message. It's useless," said Marsudi at the Constitutional Court building, Wednesday, April 3.
It could be, according to Marsudi, that the litigants in the 2024 presidential election dispute trial are fussing over Sirekap aimed at blaming others.
"Unless you want to make it up to people, you can. If you really want to blame people, anything can be blamed," said Marsudi.
Marsudi admitted that there were indeed weaknesses in Sirekap which resulted in a data conversion error from the C1 form. The results in each TPS into the application.
This weakness starts from the accuracy of the data reading of not 100 percent, the difference in camera resolution of TPS officers who upload C1. Hasil, to C1 paper that is folded when photographed.
However, Marsudi said that the KPU had also corrected the vote acquisition figures on the incorrect data.

Responding to this, Constitutional Court Judge Saldi Isra disagreed with Marsudi who assessed that the discussion of Sirekap in the Constitutional Court was useless. Saldi emphasized that Sirekap was included in the petitioner's argument, namely Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Pranowo.
"This is important for us to hold it because it is argued. So, the court must answer it. So, don't consider it useless to debate here. Our interest is to answer the arguments of the applicant," said Saldi.
"Yes," replied Marsudi.
