Houses Left In Tarawih Prayers, Assets Worth IDR 70 Million Lost By Thieves
BOGOR - Left behind in tarawih prayers, the house of a Bogor resident in Ciomas, was burglarized. As a result, a sum of money and valuables worth tens of millions disappeared.
The Head of Ciomas Police, Kompol Iwan Wahyudin, said that the case of a resident's house being burglarized occurred at around 20.00 WIB, which was carried out by the perpetrators by breaking into the window of the house.
"The house was burglarized, it happened when the house was empty, where the owner of the house lived to perform tarawih prayers at the mosque," he said, Tuesday, April 2.
After returning from the mosque, said Kompol Iwan, the new owner of the house realized that someone had entered and taken a number of valuables.
Based on the police report, a number of items stolen by the perpetrators were in the form of cash worth Rp. 50 million, gold precious metal weighing 20 grams, and a number of ornamentals with a total of Rp. 20 million.
"With a total loss of Rp. 70 million, and no casualties," he explained.

The police have also processed the crime scene of a resident's house that was burglarized. Iwan also stated that this case was under further investigation.
"Looking for other evidence at the house of a resident who was burglarized, maybe someone was left behind from the perpetrators and combed around the crime scene," he said.
