Good News, BMKG Calls Water Conditions In The Country Conducive For Homecoming
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued a national weather forecast for Wednesday, April 3. Rifat Darajat forecasters revealed good news for Lebaran travelers who use ship transportation modes. BMKG stated that the water conditions in Indonesia are conducive.
The average wave height in the country's waters ranges from 0.5 meters to 2.5 meters. "However, there is the potential for tidal flooding on the coast of the Central Java region," said Rifat in the BMKG Info broadcast.
BMKG also revealed the potential for rain cloud growth in a number of areas of the country. "There is cyclonic circulation around the southeastern Maluku which forms a convergence area indeed from the direction of the Arafuru Sea, Banda Sea, and Papua," said Rifat.
