Prabowo Scheduled To Continue Visit To Japan
JAKARTA - The Japanese Embassy in Jakarta said Prabowo Subianto, who was declared victorious in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres), is scheduled to visit Japan from April 2 to 3, 2024.
Based on information from the Japanese Embassy, the coordination process is currently underway to arrange a meeting with top Japanese officials, including Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
They hope that the visit will be a momentum to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in various fields in bilateral relations, as well as cooperation related to the situation in the region.
"Given that Japan and Indonesia are Comprehensive Strategic Partners who share fundamental principles and values and have historical relationships in the fields of politics, economy and culture, we hope that this visit will be a momentum to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in various fields in bilateral relations and in regional situations," said the Japanese Embassy in a statement quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 1.
Earlier on March 21, 2024, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida directly called presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto for his victory in the 2024 presidential election.

Kishida congratulated Prabowo by telephone which lasted for about 10 minutes. Not only by telephone, Prabowo also received the congratulations from a letter given by Kishida.
"Please allow me to congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on the election of His Majesty in this presidential election," Kishida said in his letter.
