Region Manager Corporate Sales Sumbagut, Anggoro Wibowo said, the potential market for chemical/petrochemical products in Indonesia, especially in the Sumbagut Region, is relatively large, Methanol sales are expansions of petrochemical products which are expected to be one of the commodities that can boost Pertamina Patra Niaga's sales growth.
"Hopefully, Pertamina's steps in expanding in Petrokimia products, especially Methanol products, can meet the needs and increase the reliability of Methanol supply, especially in the domestic market," said Anggoro, Monday, April 1.
He revealed that Methanol's sales to biodiesel producers are a form of synergy with palm oil industry players in providing support for national energy security.
As knows that Methanol is one of the main mixed ingredients in biodiesel production, namely Fatty Acid Methyl Ester or FAME. FAME is then mixed with Solar Products to be used as Biosolar products.
