The Trans Sumatra Toll Road Is Crossed By 202,614 Vehicles During The Easter Holiday
JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) or HK noted an increase in the volume of vehicles crossing the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) during the long weekend holiday for the 2024 Easter celebration to reach 202,614 vehicles.
EVP Corporate Secretary of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Tjahjo Purnomo said the figure was a cumilation of the volume of vehicles for two days.
"The traffic volume (VLL) that crossed JTTS during the period from March 28 to March 30 was 202,614 vehicles," he said in an official statement, Sunday, March 31.
Tjahjo said the risks, namely vehicles crossing the Terbanggi Besar-Kayu Agung Toll Road, were recorded as 43,622 Vehicles, an increase of 10 percent from normal VLLs.
Then, there were 34,507 vehicles crossing the Palembang-Prabumulih Toll Road, an increase of 13 percent from the normal VLL. Then, 4,960 vehicles crossing the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road or an increase of 41 percent from the normal VLL.
"Vehicles crossing the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang Toll Road were 12,703 vehicles, an increase of 6.5 percent from normal VLLs. Then, vehicles crossing the Pekanbaru-Dumai Toll Road were 43,700 vehicles, an increase of 9.48 percent from normal VLLs," he said.

Then, vehicles crossing the Indrapura-Five Puluh Toll Road were recorded at 24,582 vehicles or 15 percent higher than the normal VLL. Meanwhile, 29,964 vehicles or an increase of 10.05 percent of the normal VLL.
"Vehicles crossing the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road are 8,576 vehicles, an increase of 6 percent from normal VLL," he said.
Hutama Karya appealed to toll road users to be able to check the condition of the vehicle before driving, ensure it is prime and does not drive sleepy, pull over and rest when sleepy.
"Ensuring that the Electronic Money Card is in good condition and the balance is sufficient before traveling, to avoiding vulnerable hours, and always agreeing that safety is number one," he explained.
