Barcelona To Copa Del Rey Final, Koeman: We Deserve To Qualify, We Are The Best Team

JAKARTA - Ronald Koeman praised Barcelona's attitude and mentality when they made an extraordinary comeback against Sevilla in the Copa del Rey semifinals, Thursday, March 4 in the morning.

After Ousmane Dembele reduced Sevilla's win on aggregate to 2-1 (Julen Lopetegui's first leg won 2-0), Gerard Pique's header forced extra time and Martin Braithwaite scored the decisive goal.

"We always believe," said Koeman when the match was over. "We never give up on the Copa. It's a matter of mentality.

"I, as a coach, cannot ask my team to do more than I saw tonight. We fought until extra time and it was great. I am very happy with the team work tonight.

The second leg victory came just four days after Las Blaugranas won 2-0 over Sevilla in La Liga, where they also played a 3-5-2 formation.

"That's very important for our confidence," said Koeman of the win at Sevilla.
