Bullet Shell Found, Allegedly Due To Large Explosion In Yonarmed Warehouse

JAKARTA - On Saturday night, March 30 at 18:40 WIB, a large explosion rocked the Medan Artillery Battalion Bullet Warehouse (Yonarmed) 07/155 GS Kodam Jaya in Bantargebang District, Bekasi City, West Java. The amateur video circulating shows the fire rising high as a result of the explosion, creating panic around the area.

Kadispenad, Brigadier General Kristomei, stated that his party still had not received definite information about the incident. "I don't know yet, I'm checking, I'll inform you as soon as possible," said Kristomei.

According to a report from VOI journalist Donny Winardi, the explosion was heard at his home about 5 km from the scene. In fact, VOI also reported that several bullet casings had been secured by local TNI members, showing a serious incident scale.
