Polda Metro Will Turn Motorized Homecomers Around
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will take action against travelers who use two-wheeled vehicles or motorbikes without complying with traffic rules. The action was in the form of being reversed.
The rule in question is riding more than one person and exceeding the load limit.
"Yes, we will see what dangerous situations can be made. So we will fix it first, or if it is very dangerous, we will fix it (if it can't) be played," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman as quoted on Saturday, March 30.
In addition, other forms of action will also be carried out by officers in the field. However, it is not in the form of a ticket but a warning and education.
"We will carry out activities that violate, we will carry out educational repressive activities, where violations must be dealt with, but of course educational actions," he said.

"It is hoped that if they (homecomers) no matter how small the violation, we will definitely take action, that action once again does not mean that they have to be ticketed. We reprimand, we remind, maybe we will turn it around to improve the luggage first, we will remind those who are more content," continued Latif.
This step is taken solely to avoid the potential for accidents during homecoming.
Regarding technical action, later the police will set up surveillance posts at two main points or lanes for motorized travelers.
"We will later establish a monitoring post for two-wheeled riders, namely in Kalimalang which is heading east and in Kalideres to the west," said Latif.
