Amar Bank Prepares IDR 100 Billion Credit For EFishery Partners

JAKARTA - PT Bank Amar Indonesia Tbk or Amar Bank has prepared credit distribution in the form of close-loop financing or ecosystem financing of up to Rp100 billion to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) accultural or aquaculture partners who become eFishery partners.

This was realized through a collaboration between Amar Bank and technology company akultur eFishery to jointly fund fish cultivators.

"As a pioneer of digital banks in Indonesia, Amar Bank is always committed to achieving more MSMEs that can benefit digital banking, and eFishery as the right partner to help us realize this commitment," said Benjamin Tampubolon's Digital Banking Service Function Head quoting Antara.

According to Amar Bank, this collaboration with eFishery is also one of the company's ongoing strategies in reaching business partners who can bridge the distribution of funding so that it can be accessed and more MSME players.

The cooperation between the two parties will target fish cultivators who are members of the "Poor, Pay Later (Kabayan)" program managed by eFishery. The program has been present since 2020 aimed at bridging fish cultivators with financial access that can support their business development.

In addition, Amar Bank and eFishery are also committed to providing digital banking services for fish cultivators. Amar Bank supports eFishery partner fish cultivators through the attachment of digital banking and finance services to the eFishery platform.

EFishery CFO Dhianendra Laksmana said that his party welcomed the collaboration with Amar Bank.

According to him, this is a significant step to encourage the growth of the acultural industry in Indonesia, especially for fish cultivators. It is hoped that cultivators will find it easier to gain financial access to develop their business.
