Luxury House In Kuningan, South Jakarta Burns, 1 Person Injured
JAKARTA - A two-story rented house on Jalan Genteng Ijo, Karet Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta caught fire. One person said he was injured.
South Jakarta Gulkarmat Picket Officer, Paryo confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 27, at 03.45 WIB.
A 2-story rented house (3 doors) caught fire. (As a result) one person suffered minor injuries," Paryo said in his statement, Wednesday, March 27.
Paryo explained that residents saw the fire emerging from the 2nd floor. So he immediately contacted the South Jakarta Damkar.
On that basis, his party immediately deployed 45 personnel and 10 units of the South Jakarta Damkar. As a result, the fire was extinguished in less than 2 hours.
"Departing at 03.48 WIB, arrived at 03.53 WIB and was declared extinguished at 05.17 WIB," he said.
Based on preliminary reports, the cause of the fire was allegedly due to an electrical short on the second floor of the rented house.
"For the cause of the alleged electrical short circuit," he said.
He also said that the loss was estimated at up to IDR 550 million and there were no casualties.
"Losses of IDR 550 million. No fatalities, 1 person lightly injured," he concluded.
