Viral Pertalite Mixed With Water In Bekasi, Pertamina Opens Voice
JAKARTA - Social media X was shocked by the post @ndialfein_ which complained about Pertalite fuel being flooded when he was filling fuel at the Bekasi gas station.
Responding to this, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga also opened its voice. Through the Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga, West Java Regional, Eko Kristiawan confirmed the incident.
According to Eko, there was an alleged contamination of Pertalite type fuel with water at the 34,17106 gas station, which is located at Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No. 100 Bekasi City on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 21.00 WIB.
"This is known after complaints accompanied by evidence of a sample of fuel contaminated with water from consumers after filling Pertalite type fuel," said Eko when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, March 26.
Eko said the gas station was responsible for repairing vehicle damage and replacing consumer vehicle fuel with Pertamax caused by the incident.

"Currently, gas stations have stopped distribution operations and checked all tanks at gas stations," continued Eko.
He explained, during the termination of the operation of the 34,17106 gas station in Bekasi City, as an alternative, the community was able to charge fuel at 34,17135 gas stations on Jl. KH Agus Salim No. 108 in Bekasi City or 33,17101 gas stations on Jl. Ir. H. Juanda Bekasi City.
"Pertamina guarantees the smooth distribution and availability of fuel stocks for the community, especially in the Bekasi city area and its surroundings," concluded Eko.
