That's why the direct evacuation of firefighters, Satpol PP and Basarnas Palangka Raya City, and assisted by residents, was finally able to catch the snake," he said in Palangka Raya, Antara, Sunday, March 24.Sucipto, who is also the Coordinator of Call Center 112 Palangka Raya, said that the snake was suspected of looking for food because its eating ecosystem was damaged, then was forced to attack local residents' livestock or pets."One tail preying on chicken farming, because the place where the snake is looking for food is suspected to be gone," said Sucipto.He revealed that after being secured, the snake was taken to the Fire Rescue Post and released back into the wild, away from residential areas."We will later release the snake into its habitat. I also tell the residents, if there is a finding of a snake, report it immediately and don't evacuate it yourself if you don't know the technique. Because it can be dangerous if you evacuate yourself," explained Sucipto.
Meanwhile, based on the information of the livestock owner, Kasmaji, the snake had preyed on his livestock several times.
