KAI Commuter Ready To Serve Local Homecomers During Eid 2024

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia or KAI Commuter ensures that they are ready to provide services for intercity or local travelers ahead of Lebaran 2024 which is only a matter of weeks.

KAI Commuter Corporate Secretary Anne Purba said that at this time, KAI Commuter synergized with stakeholders to support Eid Transportation in 2024.

Anne said that every time the KAI Commuter Lebaran Transport serves local travelers in the Jabodetabek operational area and its surroundings, Greater Bandung, Yogyakarta and Solo as well as the Surabaya area.

"Of course KAI Commuter has made preparations for services to local travelers who use commuter line transportation," he said in an official statement, Friday, March 22.

Anne said the integration system will also continue to be developed, both integrating the payment system and accessing integration in commuter line stations with continued transportation.

"By using a Multi Trip Card (KMT) that can be used in other modes of transportation and the Access by KAI Application for the Bandung, Yogyakarta-Kutoarjo and Surabaya Regions," said Anne.

Furthermore, Anne said that the KAI Commuter will also provide additional services, starting from service and security officers, station facilities to additional commuter line trips in Yogyakarta-Solo to serve local travelers who are dominated by seasonal users.

"For the safety of KAI Commuter officers routinely check the feasibility of train Facilities Operations," he explained.

In addition, continued Anne, to anticipate train travel disruptions during the Eid Transport period, KAI Commuter has prepared Reserve Facilities and Special Facilities to anticipate operational constraints.

In maintaining user safety and comfort, KAI Commuter is also working with the TNI-Polri to add personnel during the 2024 Eid Transport period.

To enliven Eid al-Fitr, KAI Commuter will also decorate 10 stations with the theme of Eid al-Fitr in the Greater Jakarta area, 4 stations in the 6th Bandung and Yogyakarta areas, and 7 stations in the Surabaya area.
