Spotify Presents Miniplayer For App Users On Desktop

JAKARTA Spotify, a music streaming platform, launched a miniplayer for the desktop version. By launching this new feature, Spotify users can now access and control music in an easy way.

This feature, known as the Spotify Desktop Miniplayer, was launched for Premium customers. In the form of a floating window, users can change the window size into two configurations.

While using a miniplayer, users can control audio, change the song that is being played, select playlists, and adjust volumes. Miniplayers will also function duringpodcast playback.

This feature will remain floating when the user opens another app. According to Spotify, this capability can help users to stay focused on their activities. They don't have to switch apps just to change music.

To use Spotify Desktop Miniplayer, users must first open the Spotify app, then search for a miniplayer icon in the lower right corner of the app. This icon is placed between the volume button and the full screen.

After the icon is clicked, the floating window will appear and the user can adjust the appearance to a square or rectangular with a slimmer bar. Especially for the square ratio, users can see videos from the song.

If your app doesn't have this feature yet, try updating the app first. Now, you no longer need to use third-party apps like SpotMenu and Lofi Spotify Mini Player just to see smaller playback.
