JAKARTA - Indonesia AirAsia urges passengers to comply with the provisions of the cabin baggage that has been set by the government, especially during the homecoming and Eid holidays on April 3, 2024.

According to the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30 of 2021 concerning Minimum Service Standards for Air Transport Passengers, cabin baggage for jets and propeller aircraft is above 30 seats with a weight of 7kg and has a size in accordance with the provisions of the Air Transport Business Entity.

Eddy said Indonesia AirAsia obeyed and complied with the regulations that had been set. According to him, this will have an impact on the safety and comfort of passengers during the flight, and the security check process will be faster.

Cabin trunk requirements with a maximum weight of 7 kg:

1. Combination of 1 bag or luggage + 1 small bag = maximum 7 kg

2. The first bag or luggage has a size of 56 cm x 23 cm x 36 cm

3. For small bags it cannot exceed the size of 40 cm x 30 cm x 10 cm

Officers will check every cabin trunk carried by passengers upon departure to ensure that the bag or luggage does not exceed the maximum predetermined weight.
