San.gita Visits Ten Cities In Central Java On Lelaku Tour
JAKARTA - The band from Salatiga San.gita (read by Sanggita) started the Lelaku Tour by visiting Ambarawa, Central Java on Saturday, March 16 last week.
Furthermore, the band consisting of Bonita (vocals), Adoi (guitar), Sunu (bass), and Michael (drums) will continue their journey to nine other cities in Central Java and Yogyakarta.
In the first round of the Lelaku Tour, San.gita chose cities that were relatively close to their place of origin, including Ambarawa, Boyolali, Ungaran, Semarang, Temanggung, Pati, Magelang, Solo, Klaten, and Yogyakarta.
"We are excited to play live introducing our work to a wider audience. Pelaku is our independent program that accommodates this excitement. For this first half we will go to ventures in areas that are still relatively close to Salatiga. We will do it in Central Java and Yogyakarta," Bonita said in her statement, Wednesday, March 20.
Touring independently is certainly a challenge for San.gita. They also have to work with several business units in Salatiga.
"We realize that independence is a process that must be carried out with synergy between several parties. Therefore, not only as an aesthetic expression channel, San.gita also continues to learn to be a part or a point of dignified synergy knot, at least for colleagues and communities where we live," said Adoi.
San.gita clearly hopes that the first half of the Lelaku Tour will go well. They have also planned for further cities after this tour.
"For the first round of this tour, we stopped at the end of every week, the area was still relatively close. In the second half we will go to a rather far area, maybe Jabodetabek and West Java. So at that time we will leave Salatiga within about two weeks moving cities or areas to stop by to appear in several venues," said Sunu.
"It's not easy, you can stop performing live in places, especially outside the city, far from where we live. By running the first round of this tour, we also invite other parties to support the road and continue this activity. We believe this is a mutual relationship. Because what we bring is live music and power, "concluded Michael.
