JAKARTA - KPK prosecutors have said that Rezky Herbiyono bought several luxury watches for his in-laws, former Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Nurhadi. KPK prosecutors believed that the purchase money was made from bribes for legal proceedings.
"It was found that Defendant II Rezky Herbiyono often bought luxury watches for Defendant I Nurhadi at a shop owned by witness Marietta aka Tata", said KPK public prosecutor (JPU) Wawan Yunarwanto during a trial to read the charges at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor). The luxury watches that Rezky bought for Nurhadi were worth IDR 12.04 billion.
The details, first, on January 12, 2015, Rezky bought a Richard Mille watch brand RM11 NTPT Rose Gold series for Nurhadi's needs for IDR 1.88 billion.
Second, on January 12, 2015, Rezky bought a Richard Mille watch brand RM11 Carbon for Nurhadi's needs for IDR 1,125 billion.
Third, on January 28, 2015, Rezky bought a Patek Philippe 5726 series watch which will be given as a gift to Nurhadi's friend who is a judge or official, and the Audemars Piguet watch in the Royal Oak Offshore Lady series used by Rezky's wife, Rizqi Aulia Rahmi for IDR 829 million.
Fourth, on August 3, 2015, Rezky bought the Richard Mille RM11 Phantom watch for Nurhadi's needs for IDR 1.95 billion.
Fifth, on October 13, 2015, Rezky bought the RM11 FM Asia Boutique Richard Mille watch for Nurhadi's needs for IDR 1.85 billion.

"Regarding the facts above, Defendant I Nurhadi and Defendant II Rezky Herbiyono denied that the purchase of the watches was not for Defendant I, but the statements of Defendant I and Defendant II were not supported by sufficient evidence so that the statements of Defendant I and Defendant II were feasible sidelined", added prosecutor Wawan.
The purchase of the luxury watch, according to the prosecutor, came from the giving of money totaling IDR 45,726 billion from Hiendra Soenjoto.
In this case, former Supreme Court Secretary Nurhadi was charged with 12 years in prison plus a fine of IDR 1 billion, a subsidiary of 6 months in prison, while his son-in-law Rezky Herbiyono was charged with 11 years in prison plus a fine of IDR1 billion, a subsidiary of 6 months in prison.
In the lawsuit, the two stated that they received bribes amounting to IDR 45,726 billion from the President Director of PT Multicon Indrajaya Terminal (MIT) 2014-2016, Hiendra Soenjoto, regarding the processing of two lawsuits and receiving gratuities from several parties amounting to IDR 37,287 billion.
Nurhadi and Rezky are also required to pay the total replacement money of IDR 83.013 billion, which if not paid after receiving a final legally enforceable verdict, both of them will have to serve a criminal sentence of 2 years in prison.
In the first indictment, the KPK prosecutor assessed that Nurhadi and Rizki were proven to have received IDR 45.726 billion from Hiendra Soenjoto regarding the processing of the two lawsuits.
The first lawsuit is the case between PT MIT and PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (KBN) regarding the lease agreement for PT KBN's container depot with an area of 57,330 square meters and 26,800 square meters located in the KBN Marunda area Kav C3-4.3, Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
The second lawsuit is Hiendra Soenjto's lawsuit against Azhar Umar. Azhar filed a lawsuit against Hiendra Soenjoto at the Central Jakarta District Court on January 5, 2015, regarding the deed of the PT MIT Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) and the change of commissioners of PT MIT which was registered on February 13, 2015.
Meanwhile, in the second indictment, Nurhadi together with Rezky were also assessed as proven to have received gratuities amounting to IDR 37,287 billion from parties who have cases in court at the first level, appeal, cassation, and review.
The gifts came from the first, Handoko Sutjitro, valued at IDR 2.4 billion; from Renny Susetyo Wardhani for IDR 2.7 billion; from the Director of PT Multi Bangun Sarana, Donny Gunawan, worth IDR 8 billion; from Freddy Setiawan for IDR 20.5 billion and Riadi Waluyo amounting to IDR 1,687 billion.
Against these demands, Nurhadi and Rezky will submit a pleidoi (defense) on March 5, 2021.
