Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Encourages Indonesian Exports To Up To 60 Percent
PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) said the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road pushed 60 percent of Indonesia's exports.
The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, which stretches for 72.50 kilometers (km) from Jakarta to Cikampek, is a business route that is the lifeblood that connects the economy in the Trans Java region.
This toll road is also connected to Tanjung Priok Port, which is a business route for the distribution of goods and services.
"The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road also has a positive impact on the export sector. Nearly 60 percent of Indonesian exporters are supplied from the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and almost 80 percent are West Java exports passing through the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road leading to Tanjung Priok Port," reads the statement @official.jmtransjawa, quoted on Tuesday, March 19.
Strategicly, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road has an important role to play in improving the country's economy.
"With connected infrastructure, it is the key to success in opening up wide export opportunities," he said.

The number of Class I vehicles passing on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road reaches 82.3 percent throughout 2023. Meanwhile, the number of non-Group I vehicles or similar industrial trucks reached 17.7 percent.
Thus, there are 29.3 million truck vehicles directly able to affect the level of resilience of the toll road infrastructure layer, with an average number of vehicles overloaded as much as 37.6 percent during 2019-2023.
