Corruption Case Witness PT Taspen Immediately Called KPK
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) immediately summoned a witness in the PT Taspen (Persero) fictitious investment corruption case that reportedly ensnared Antonius NS Kosasih. This process was held after investigators analyzed the evidence found during the search.
"The summoning of witnesses will be carried out immediately and developments will be conveyed," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, March 19.
Ali said investigators should focus first to analyze the evidence. Because they will be asked about the findings.
The search related to alleged fictitious investments in state-owned companies has been carried out in seven locations. In detail, investigators visited Office 8 Building SCBD, South Jakarta and the Office of PT Taspen (Persero), Central Jakarta on Friday, March 8 and found evidence in the form of documents, electronic evidence, and financial records.
Then they also visited five locations on Thursday, March 7. Investigators at that time found evidence in the form of a sum of money in foreign currency denominations, documents and financial investment records, to electronic devices.
"After the search, of course, the analysis and confiscation of the search findings were confiscated as evidence was carried out and will then be confirmed to a number of witnesses," he said.
Previously reported, the KPK decided to increase allegations of corruption at PT Taspen (Persero) from investigation to investigation. Requests for prevention abroad against the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights have also been carried out.
