Demak Regency Wulan River Embankment Broken Again, Semarang Route Kudus Flood Again

JAKARTA - The Wulan River Embankment in Ketanjung Village, Karanganyar District, Demak Regency, Central Java, has again collapsed causing a flood in Demak Regency, widespread.

According to the Coordinator of the Wulan Marsono River Embankment and Strengthening Field in Demak, Sunday, the embankment is estimated to break on Sunday (17/3) at 02.20 WIB.

Before it broke, he said, the Wulan River's water discharge continued to increase, even on Saturday (16/3) at 24.00 WIB the water had approached the height of the embankment which had been elevated and strengthened.
