Social Minister Risma Provides Assistance To Heirs For Longsor Mental Victims In Padang Pariaman
The Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini provides direct compensation and moral support to the heirs of the victims due to floods and landslides in Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra.
Risma said the assistance was to ensure the independence of the heirs after the natural disaster that claimed their guardians.
One of the heirs of the beneficiaries is Randa Fauzanatul (20) who lost both her parents as well as her livelihood as a simple coffee shop owner due to floods and landslides a few days ago.
"You come to work at my Balai in Padang, right? Later you can build your own coffee shop," said Social Minister Risma as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, March 14.
He also directly reviewed the condition of flood victims and provided other aid packages, such as a complete package of generators along with their fuel, family tents, rice, eggs, and children's clothing.
Risma also advised that these items can be stored as social granaries so that they can be reused if needed at any time
"If it is not used, it can be stored, I fill the food. I help the social granary, so it can be used at any time," he said.

The arrival of Social Minister Risma clearly gave encouragement to the victims, including Randa. Although the grief was still clearly visible on the faces of the victims, the smile was engraved when the number one person at the Ministry of Social Affairs met and entertained him directly, moreover offering him a job.
"If there is a disaster problem, the wound has not been lost, but with Risma's mother coming here, we are starting to reduce our burden," said Randa.
Previously, the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Directorate of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims and the Padang Social Welfare Education and Training Center (BBPPKS) had distributed assistance in the form of 700 ready-to-eat food packages, 81 blankets, 36 mattresses, 50 rolled tents, 10 family tents, 1 multipurpose tent unit, 50 child clothes packages, 100 family kit packages, 50 child support packages, and 100 adult clothing packages.
His party also provided cleaning equipment assistance for 41 affected families. In particular, the Ministry of Social Affairs has also provided compensation worth IDR 15 million each to the heirs of the three victims of the natural disaster.
