Doctors And ASN In Kaltara Arrested In Drug Cases
NUNUKAN - A dentist and employee of the Nunukan Regency Government, North Kalimantan (Kaltara) were arrested by the police for a methamphetamine case.
Head of Public Relations of the Nunukan Police, AKP Siswati, said that the two arrested perpetrators had the initials FR (37), a dentist and NR (43), had the status of ASN.
"The perpetrator is ASN, FR is a dentist who works at the Sebuku Health Center while this NR is an ASN person who works in the Nunukan Tengah sub-district office," said Siswanti, Thursday, March 14.
Both were arrested on Monday, March 11, while operational personnel were on patrol.
"FR received methamphetamine by asking NR to buy from someone he had known for a long time. The two ASN members of the Nunukan Regency Government plan to use methamphetamine together," he explained.
Found evidence of methamphetamine as much as a small plastic package. NR bought the illicit goods from a man with the initials Y. This doctor admitted that he often ordered crystal methamphetamine from NR for his own consumption.
"The evidence that we secured was 0.09 grams, he said this methamphetamine was bought by NR for Rp. 300 thousand," he explained.
"Currently, we are still investigating Y, who is suspected of being the courier where FR and NR have been supplying crystal methamphetamine so far," he continued.
Both are now secured at the Nunukan Police Headquarters. The suspect was charged with the Narcotics Law.
