JAKARTA - A video circulating on social media showing a man is being interrogated. The man is suspected of being a fake policeman.
Based on the video uploaded by the @bandungtalk Instagram account, the fake police were being questioned by a man in black and several Satpol PP members.
In fact, the upload stated that the man was arrested by two members of the TNI around the Bandung city square, on Sunday, February 28.
Meanwhile, the initial disclosure of the fake police was when two TNI members were driving around the location. Then, suddenly approached by the fake policeman who asked to stop and pull over his vehicle.
"At first I didn't know he was a police because he was wearing a jacket and a mask. So, I kept asking for my papers, I gave him the STNK and my driver's license, he said I was going against the direction, now I immediately asked for money," wrote the @bandungtalk account quoted by VOI, Tuesday. , March 2.
Then, the TNI member asked questions about the assignment and asked the fake police to show his membership card (KTA). But, of course the fake policeman refused.
So, the TNI member showed his KTA. The fake policeman immediately canceled his intention and tried to leave.
The suspicion was getting stronger because the man who pretended to be a policeman had physical characteristics that did not reflect the real police. Thus, the man was secured.
"The more I was suspicious, he was about 160cm short, kept overweight, had a distended stomach," wrote the account.
In fact, when the man was asked to remove the jacket, no rank was attached to the policeman. So, the man was immediately taken to the Satpol PP room not far from the location.
Sure enough, that guy was just a fake cop. Based on the admission, the man was 17 years old. It's just that, there is no explanation about the motive behind the man being desperate to become a fake cop.
"The perpetrator has been arrested at the Regol Police," he said. Until this news was released, VOI was still trying to contact the relevant parties to confirm the details of this fake police case.
