The Second Night Of Ramadan, Jokowi Will Pray Tarawih At The Bogor Palace
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will perform tarawih prayers on the second night of Ramadan, Tuesday, March 12, at the Baitussalam Mosque, Bogor Presidential Palace Complex, West Java with staff and the surrounding community.
"In this blessed holy month of Ramadan, Alhamdulillah, we can return to the Tarawih prayer," said the Head of State in a written statement uploaded via President Jokowi's Instagram @jokowi on Wednesday.
Last night, the President and his staff at the Bogor Palace and the surrounding community held Tarawih Prayers, Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the Baitussalam Mosque, Bogor Presidential Palace complex, West Java.
In the photo upload, President Jokowi is seen prostrate by wearing a yellow long-sleeved shirt equipped with a black cap.
President Jokowi was also seen wearing a green sarong with a blue line accent on the photo.

In the second photo, the photo upload shows President Jokowi at the forefront of praying with members of the Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres) wearing maroon uniforms.
Based on the caption of the photo, tarawih prayers at Baitussalam Mosque, Bogor Presidential Palace Complex, on Tuesday, March 12, were led by Imam Lilik Yulizar, with Abdul Rohman acting as bilal and Humamit as a muezzin.
As previously reported, the Government through the Ministry of Religion set the beginning of fasting or 1 Ramadan 1445 Hijri/2024 AD falls on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, after being decided through the Isbat Session at the Indonesian Ministry of Religion Building, Jakarta, Sunday, March 10.
"The results of the Isbat trial determined that 1 Ramadan 1445 Hijri falls on Tuesday," said Religious Affairs Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, while chairing a press conference on the determination of the Isbat session.
With this determination, on Monday, March 11, the night of Muslims in Indonesia can perform Tarawih Prayers.
