The 119th TMMD Task Force Of Kodim Yahukimo Bangun MCK For Remote Villages In Papua Mountains

JAKARTA - The commitment of the 119th TMMD Task Force carried out by Kodim 1715/Yahukimo in building the infrastructure needed by the community continues. One of the priorities at this time is the construction of MCK facilities (Mandi Washing Saus) for residents of remote villages in the Yahukimo Regency area, Papua Mountains, which do not yet have adequate sanitation access.

The importance of access to sanitation that is appropriate for public health is the main concern of the TMMD Task Force. With solid cooperation between the TNI apparatus, the local community, and other related parties, the construction of the MCK took place quickly.

Dansatgas TMMD Ke-119 Kodim 1715/Yahukimo, Lt. Col. Inf Tommy Yudistyo, S.Sos., M.Han., emphasized that the construction of MCK is part of the TNI's efforts to improve the quality of life of rural communities. Positive reactions also came from local residents who felt helped by the construction of the MCK. They welcomed the efforts of the TMMD Task Force and hoped that better sanitation access would make their lives more comfortable and healthy.
