Food Stall In Matraman Burns, Allegedly Due To Leaking Gas Auction

JAKARTA - A rice stall located on Jalan KH Ahmad Dahlan, RT 07/09, Palmeriam Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta, caught fire.

The flames came from a gas cylinder leak.

"When the owner cooked rice, suddenly there was a leak in the regulator's hose, causing a fire to be ignited," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed, Tuesday, March 12.

Luckily there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the fire. The fire was also successfully extinguished by 1 Damkar car with 5 personnel deployed to the location.

"The victim was nil. The cause was due to leakage of the LPG gas regulator," he said.

The burned area is about 1 square meter. The fire did not spread because the flames were handled quickly.

"The port is finished using APAR," he said.
