3 Indonesian Representatives Become Superiors In All England 2024

JAKARTA Three Indonesian representatives are featured in the world's oldest tournament, All England, which will take place in Birmingham, England, March 12-17 this week. Indonesia has sent a total of 11 representatives to the event. The details are men's singles three, women's singles one, men's doubles four, women's doubles one, and mixed doubles two representatives.

The three representatives who became the seed were the men's singles Anthony Sinisuka Ginting (the fifth seed), the women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung (the seventh seed), and Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto (the seventh seed).

In the first half, Anthony will meet China's Taipei representative, Chia Hao Lee. This is the first competitive battle between the two single men.

Gregoria will meet Singapore's women's singles, Yeo Jia Min. The 2017 junior world champion is winning 6-3 wins over Yeo, but he lost their last meeting at the India Open in January.

Then Fajar/Rian will meet double Chinese Taipei Fang-Chih Lee/Fang-Jen Lee, who they have beaten twice in three clashes. The latest victory took place at the Malaysia Open this year.

The third name previously appeared in France Open last week. However, they all came home without bringing the title from the Super 750 BWF level event.

In the event Ginting and Gregoria returned in the second half, while Fajar/Rian's journey stopped in the quarter-finals.

Overall, at the French Open, Indonesia failed to place its deputy in the final round. It was the fifth failure of six tournaments earlier this year.

The only tournament that represents Indonesia in the final of the six tournaments at the beginning of this year is the Indonesia Masters. At that time, Leo Rolly Carnando / Daniel Marthin, who entered the round and came out to become champions.
