Until This Afternoon, The Black Box Of The Smart Aviation Plane Is Still Being Searched

The joint SAR team is currently still at the crash site of the Pilatus PC-6 Porter PK-SNE aircraft belonging to the Smart Aviation airline in Binuang, Nunukan, North Kalimantan, to look for black boxes and Flight Data Recorders (FDR).

"We have deployed a Bell helicopter from Malinau to the scene for a mission to find black boxes and FDR," said Head of the Tarakan Syahril Basarnas in Tarakan, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 11.

There are 10 joint SAR team personnel at the crash site, consisting of five Basarnas personnel and five TNI/Polri personnel. Basarnas personnel namely Hamsah, Muzfadhil Chaerul Muhammad, Muh Yusdi Fajerin, Fajar Bakti Tandi Datu, and Rangga Wijaya Saputra, while personnel from the TNI/Polri namely First Lieutenant Agung, Serka Safriansyah, Serda Sigawa, Bripda Trio Paurana, and Bripda Sahrul.

"The joint SAR team at the Tarakan Joint Command Post held a briefing to carry out the evacuation of the joint SAR team which was still at the scene of the crash," said Syahril.

The team from Tarakan using Super Puma H-225M Reg. H-2207 carried out the evacuation of the joint SAR team at coordinates 27.60 "N 115 deg 56' 32.40" E with a distance of 98.29 NM with a heading of 283,44 deg.

The elements involved in the evacuation included the Kansar Tarakan Rescue Team, Anang Busra Tarakan Air Base, Squadron 5 Sultan Hasanuddin, Kodam VI Mulawarman, Satrad 225 Tarakan, Atang Sendjaja Air Base, West Kalimantan Police Mobile Brigade, Tarakan Police, and Malinau Police.

Then Kodim 0907 Tarakan, Kodim 0910 Malinau, Battalion 614 Raja Pandita, BPBD Malinau Regency, Airnav Tarakan, Airnav Malinau, UPBU Juwata Tarakan, UPBU RA Bessing, BMKG Tarakan and Smart Aviation, MAF Tarakan, RSUD dr Jusuf SK, PMI Tarakan, PMI Malinau, Bapena PPNI Kaltara, and RMPB Malinau Regency.

"Currently the weather is reported to be cloudy with the direction of the Northwest-North wind, wind speed 2-25 knots with a wave height of 1.25-2.5 meters," said Syahril.

All victims can be evacuated and taken to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Dr. Jusuf SK for further treatment on Sunday (10/3).

The pilot of the PK-SNE Smart Aviation Capt. M Yusuf (29), address for the Botanical Garden III Cluster No. 9, South Bekasi was found safe and a engineer Deni S (35) from Pangandaran was found dead.

The two victims were evacuated from the scene using the Super Puma H-225M Reg. H-2207. After successfully evacuating all the victims and headed straight to Tarakan.

The plane belonging to Smart Aviation was reported to have lost contact after taking off from Juwata Tarakan International Airport, Friday (8/2) at 08.25 WITA to Binuang, Krayan, Nunukan.
